Bertha Camacho

Bertha Camacho's professional background is in Sociology and Development Management with more than 10 years of working experience in various International Development Agencies such as the European Commission, the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation, the German Technical Cooperation, as well as in various International NGOs in Europe and Latin America.     

She has been engaged as Project Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist and Consultant in a number of programmes and projects in Brazil, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua,  Bolivia, Ukraine, South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, Switzerland and Germany.

Her strengths are in the areas of Knowledge Management, especially in network management, communities of practice and knowledge audits; Monitoring and Evaluation, especially in the development of qualitative and quantitative indicators, in impact and results oriented assessments and in participatory evaluation; Project planning and implementation; organisational learning and strengthening, capacity building and training, and facilitation of workshops and participatory processes. Recently, she has been engaged in the development of different Results-oriented Monitoring and Evaluation Systems for different projects and programmes of the Development Cooperation.
