The Water and Sanitation Sector Performance Report (SPR) is the single most important reference document for assessing the performance of the water and sanitation sector in Uganda. It provides a succinct overview of investments, targets, achievements and activities.

It also outlines collaborative arrangements between the Ministry of Water and Environment (MWE) and other line ministries, Local Governments, development partners and other stakeholders.

 The work of the secretariat involved:

  • Mobilising and facilitating various departments and partner organisations to compile their inputs into the main report, review inputs and provide feedback;
  • Compiling a consolidated Sector Performance Report;
  • Integrating and incorporating stakeholders comments into the report;
  • Ensuring consistency within the document and
