Course on Network Management in Latin America

On the initiative of the German Agency for Technical Cooperation (GTZ) - Brazil, Skat conducted a Training Course on Network Management with the aim to strengthen management and communication capacities of members of the Red Latinoamericana de Prevencion y Control de la Contaminacion del Suelo y de las Aguas Subterraneas.
The course was carried out in Sao Paulo, Brazil between the 13 and 15 of August. Participants represented different environmental institutions from five countries: Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile and Mexico. The course was developed, in response to the specific training needs of the participants and following the scheme of the guide “Work the Net”. It included topics such as Network Governance and Structure, Network Management, Communication Strategy in Networks and Operational Network Planning. A variety of methods were used in the course including conceptual inputs, working groups, case studies and group discussions. |
Second Network Management Course with HIV/Aids NetworkThe GTZ and the Brazilian Government through the Centro Internacional de Cooperación Técnica en VIH/SIDA (CICT) requested Skat to conduct a Network Training Course in Brasilia during the month of January 2008. The main goal was to strengthen the management capacities of members of the CICT International Network.
