Second Network Management Course with HIV/Aids Network

The GTZ and the Brazilian Government through the Centro Internacional de Cooperación Técnica en VIH/SIDA (CICT) requested Skat to conduct a Network Training Course in Brasilia during the month of January 2008. The main goal was to strengthen the management capacities of members of the CICT International Network.

The course was conducted from the 15th to the 17th of January 2008. Members of CICT and partner organisations such as: Pastoral AIDS, Grupo Dignidade, Grupo Incentivo Vida, Grupo Convivencia from the University of Brasilia and Grupo Pela Vida participated in the course.

Using a similar framework as the first Network Management Course, Skat adapted the tools and methods to the specific needs of the CICT network. As a result, participants were better familiarised with the tools and processes for Network Management and had the opportunity to reflect about the critical factors that can guarantee the success of their Network. Additionally, course participants strengthened relations with each other and discussed about how to strengthen the communication strategy of the network.
