Project implementation
Skat works with local partners in the design and implementation of programmes, based on its wide experience of project management in development cooperation and humanitarian aid.
Recent experiences include:
- Reconstruction of infrastructure in the aftermath of the 2004 tsunami in Sri Lanka and India.
- Programme management of the Vertical Shaft Brick Kiln Technology Transfer Programme in Nepal, in collaboration with Development Alternatives (Delhi).
- Support to decentralisation in Ukraine through developing and implementing mechanisms and approaches for efficient and effective service provision in the water supply and social sector within decentralised structures.
