Preparations are being made for the next CWG-WASH international workshop. It will take place from 1st to 5th December 2008, and will be held in Ouagadougou in West Africa. We invite you to seize this opportunity to meet, exchange, and reflect with your peers on ways of improving recycling and solid waste management. Capacity development and advocacy are two vital issues on which we need to make progress. We are not calling for this meeting to simply listen to papers. We are calling it because we need to find approaches that work and to improve performance, and we hope to do this by focusing on crucial issues and working together to find ways forward.

We have been talking about capacity development and advocacy for some years. What have we learned and what have we achieved?
